Red Badge Group is looking for reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our Wellington Event Security team on a casual basis. About the role:

• Deliver friendly, approachable service to all event guests, organisers, and stakeholders

• Monitor venue environments and take prompt action where risks or incidents arise

• Conduct bag checks, security screening, and validate tickets or accreditation as required

• Assist with crowd control and safe movement of people through event spaces

• Manage vehicle and gate access according to established procedures

• Provide clear, calm communication to resolve or de-escalate situations

• Contribute positively to the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of every event

• Represent Red Badge Group's standards and values at all times

Key Requirements:

• Hold (or be able to obtain) a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence

• Clean criminal conviction record

• Previous experience in security, hospitality, customer service, or a similar field is an advantage

• Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Eligibility to work in New Zealand and a minimum age of 18 years
