This role will work on a 4 days on 4 days off roster with the hours being 0900-1800, successful candidates must be able to work any day of the week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients, the public, and retail staff at all times
• Monitor retail environments for potential security risks and escalate incidents promptly
• Conduct access control, asset protection and provide visible security presence to deter theft and anti-social behaviour
• Assist with crowd management, entry control, and implementing venue procedures when required
• Maintain clear communication with the client at all times
• Uphold Red Badge Group’s standards of integrity, care, and professionalism in every interaction

Required Skills:

• Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Adaptable availability – prepared to work on a rotating roster and cover shifts as needed. 
• Must have previous experience in security. 
• Commitment to following all safety, risk, and compliance procedures
• A proactive, observant, and detail-oriented attitude to maintaining secure environments

Essential Requirements:

• Eligible to work in New Zealand and at least 18 years old
• Clean criminal conviction record
• Must have a current Green COA (Certificate of Approval). 
• Physically fit to carry out required static security duties.
