As we open the doors to the new One NZ Stadium, we are introducing an expanded Corporate & Back of House Security team who will play a crucial role in delivering a world class experience for guests, This role goes beyond traditional event security — it blends premium customer service, professional presentation, and robust operational awareness to support the stadium’s ambition to become a benchmark venue in Aotearoa’s events landscape.

Please note that the hours of this role are on a casual basis depending on when events are held. There is also opportunity to work at other events too, you are not strictly limited to just working at the One NZ Stadium.

About the role:

• Provide a professional, polished, and welcoming presence to VIPs, corporate guests, partners, and high profile attendees.

• Maintain a discrete but highly effective security presence in lounges, suites, and hospitality environments.

• Support venue management with guest relations, assisting with enquiries, movement, and comfort.

• Protect the venue’s brand by upholding high standards of professionalism, grooming, and communication at all times.

• Identify risks early and act proactively to maintain safety and service quality. •

• Manage access control for all restricted zones across both backstage and corporate areas, corporate lounges, suites, and VIP hospitality zones.

• Assist with emergency procedures, evacuations, and incident response.

• Document incidents and report hazards or unusual activity promptly.

Requirements:

• Hold, or be able to obtain, a current COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence

• Clean criminal conviction record

• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand and at least 18 years of age

• Previous experience in event security, hospitality, crowd management or customer service is preferred

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules

• Professional appearance, reliable, punctual and physically able to perform duties for the duration of shifts
