We’re seeking an experienced Mobile Patrol Officer to join our Auckland Patrol team with a commitment to high-quality service.

We are a 24/7 business, and have opportunities across both days, evenings and night shifts. Our ideal candidate will have flexibility in shift coverage across those.

About the role:

• Perform mobile patrols across multiple client sites in Auckland, ensuring premises are secure and incidents are managed promptly and professionally.

• Respond to alarms, incidents and client requests with appropriate urgency, following company procedures and escalation pathways.

• Provide visible, confident security presence while engaging courteously with clients, contractors and the public.

• Conduct property checks, perimeter inspections, and vehicle-based patrols, recording findings accurately and completing required reporting.

• Coordinate with emergency services, site contacts and Red Badge management during incidents and critical events.

• Complete incident reporting, evidence gathering, and detailed written logs to support investigations and client updates.

• Maintain patrol vehicle standards, equipment checks, and ensure all operational kit is fit for duty.

• Identify site risks, recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement; contribute to safe operating practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key requirements:

• Current New Zealand Certificate of Approval (COA) for security, or ability to obtain one.

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in mobile patrol or general security roles, with demonstrated patrol experience.

• Clean criminal conviction record and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

• Current, full New Zealand driver licence and comfortable driving for patrol duties across Auckland.

• Strong written reporting skills, attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, accurate incident logs.

• Strong computer literacy, including confidence using digital systems, apps, and basic troubleshooting to complete tasks efficiently.

• Excellent communication and conflict de-escalation skills; customer-service focused approach.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Experience mentoring or supervising others is highly regarded.

• Flexible availability to cover varied rosters including nights, weekends and public holidays.
