Red Badge Group is looking for a reliable and proactive Mobile Patrol Officer to join our Auckland team, based in Penrose. If you enjoy variety in your work, thrive working independently, and take pride in helping keep people and property safe, this could be the role for you.

You'll carry out mobile patrols across Auckland, responding to alarms and incidents while providing a professional, visible security presence.

Shift timings will vary but will be between 1900-0600, Sunday-Wednesday however some flexibility in days is needed.

What You'll Do

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, no two shifts are the same. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting mobile patrols across commercial, retail, industrial, and public sites

• Responding to alarms, incidents, and customer callouts

• Completing lock-up and unlock procedures

• Performing site inspections and perimeter checks

• Reporting incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues accurately

• Acting as a visible security presence and deterrent

• Providing professional customer service to clients and members of the public

• Maintaining patrol vehicles, equipment, and documentation to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Current full New Zealand Driver Licence (essential)

• Current Certificate of Approval (COA), or the ability to obtain one

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

• Good attention to detail and report-writing skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach

• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out site inspections throughout your shift

Previous mobile patrol or security experience is preferred, but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person with the right attitude.
